🚨 BIG NEWS, HCA FAMILY! 🚨 Our very own 6th grader, Kolin Schuler, is heading to Washington, D.C. for the 2025 Scripps National Spelling Bee! 🎉📖🐝 After winning HCA’s Spelling Bee in January, Kolin took his skills to the Carolina Panthers Regional Spelling Bee, presented by Bank of America, this weekend in Charlotte, NC. He placed 2nd in the entire region, securing his spot to represent South Carolina on the national stage this May!!! ⭐️ We couldn’t be prouder of Kolin’s hard work, determination, and love for learning. To celebrate this huge accomplishment, we’ll be celebrating him at a Pep Rally this spring to send him off in true HCA fashion! Drop some 🐝 and 🏆 in the comments to show Kolin how proud we are! 📣 Our Howard University students are back in D.C. today, and wow—do we already miss them! 💙💛 ❤️ Their time at HCA was nothing short of inspiring. From the way they served with open hearts to the deep connections they built with our students and staff, they embodied the true spirit of community. Their flexibility, dedication, and passion left a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for the time they spent with us. 🚨 HCA Delayed Start – Wednesday, March 5th 🚨 Due to severe weather impacts and high winds forecasted for our area, Horse Creek Academy will operate on a delayed start schedule tomorrow, March 5th. ⏰ School will begin at 10:30 AM for all grade levels. 🚗 Car line will open at 10:00 AM. 🚫 There will be no early care. We will continue to monitor weather conditions overnight and into the morning. If there are any further updates, we will notify families as soon as possible.
