Comprehensive Health Education
Horse Creek Academy’s Comprehensive Health Education (CHE) curriculum is fully aligned with the Comprehensive Health Education Act of 1988 and has been reviewed and approved by the HCA Comprehensive Health Education (CHE) Advisory Committee.

Second Steps Social-Emotional Learning Curriculum
Second Steps is published by Committee for Children, a Seattle-based nonprofit organization dedicated to developing research-based social-emotional learning (SEL) programs for students.
This curriculum is board-approved and currently in use at Horse Creek Academy.
High School (Grades 9–12)
The high school CHE curriculum is an HCA-created curriculum developed by Horse Creek Academy educators.

Both the middle school and high school Comprehensive Health Education curricula were approved by the HCA Comprehensive Health Education (CHE) Advisory Committee in compliance with state requirements.
