Registration is officially OPEN today for our annual Elementary Boosterthon fundraiser, all leading up to one of our favorite days of the year — the Boosterthon Fun Run on October 9! 🎉
Our 5K–5th grade Stallions are working together toward a $20,000 goal to support HCA’s Built to Last Project and the future of our growing Village.
And here’s the fun part — did you know we could reach our entire $20,000 goal if each elementary student raised just $30?! 🤯 Every student and every donation really does add up!
📲 Head to mybooster.com today to register your student and get started!
Then get ready to share, raise, and cheer on our Stallions as we count down to Fun Run Day! And stay tuned…we have some fun incentives coming your way! 👀

Did you know there are plenty of ways to complete your family’s 5 off-campus service hours while also getting out and supporting some pretty great events around Aiken? And with our new Track It Forward system, finding an opportunity and tracking your hours is easier than ever! 🙌
A few coming up:
🌿 Nature Rocks! at Hopelands Gardens
Help HCA support this free community event by serving as parking volunteers at Green Boundary.
📅 Sunday, October 11
⏰ 1:30–4:30 PM
🎃 City of Aiken Trunk or Treat at Citizens Park
Another fun opportunity to serve while being part of a great community event!
📅 Saturday, October 24
⏰ 3:00–6:00 PM
And this is just the beginning! 👀 As we head into the busy fall and holiday seasons, we’ll continue adding even more off-campus opportunities to Track It Forward.
Check the Event Calendar in Track It Forward regularly, grab a spot that works for your family, and get out in our community! 💙💛
Service + Connection = a pretty great way to spend a few hours. 🐴

Sorry to pop into your inbox midweek! 😊 We have a few timely updates we wanted to get in front of you now rather than waiting until next week’s Village Voice. From car line to athletics to a BIG elementary fundraiser, here’s what you need to know!
🚗 Car Line Safety + Morning Traffic Update
First, a quick but important safety reminder. We’ve recently seen students riding with their heads or bodies outside of vehicle windows and sunroofs while traveling through car line. We LOVE that our students are excited to come to school, but while vehicles are moving on campus, all students need to remain safely inside their vehicles. Please help us reinforce this with your students so we can keep everyone safe.
We also know morning car line has been taking longer this year, and we’re actively studying our arrival patterns to better understand why and identify ways we can improve the process.
One of our first findings has been pretty interesting: last year, a larger portion of our families arrived between 7:30–7:40 AM. This year, the heaviest concentration of traffic is arriving around 7:45 AM. When a large number of vehicles arrive in the same small window, it naturally creates a backup. Overall we do have about the same number of vehicles coming through car line this year as last.
We’re continuing to look at the data and our procedures before making any re
commendations, but if your schedule allows, arriving a little earlier may help you beat that 7:45 rush. We’ll keep you posted on what else we learn!
🏐 Athletics: New Clear Bag Policy
As we continue to grow our athletic programs and welcome larger crowds to HCA events, we are implementing a Clear Bag Policy for athletic events held on our campus.
Spectators may bring one clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Certain exceptions are permitted for necessary medical items and other approved needs.
Clear bag policies have become a common safety practice at athletic venues, including throughout Aiken County. This policy is being put in place to help us provide a safer, more efficient, and more welcoming environment for our student-athletes, families, coaches, staff, and guests.
We’ll continue sharing information and reminders as everyone gets accustome
d to the new policy!
🏀 Parents, We Need Your Help at Athletic Events!
While we’re talking athletics, please take a moment to remind your students about our expectations when attending games.
Once students enter the gym, there is no re-entry, so they should plan accordingly before coming inside. Students should also remain in the gym and in designated spectator areas throughout the event rather than running back and forth between the gym, hallways, concessions, or outside.
We LOVE seeing our student sections full and hearing our students cheer on their Stallions! We simply want our athletic events to remain fun, exciting, organized, and safe for everyone. A quick conversation at home before the next game helps us tremendously!
👟 Elementary Families: Get Ready to RUN!
We’re excited to officially kick off this year’s Horse Creek Academy Elementary Fun Run Fundraiser!
Our goal is to raise $20,000 for the Built to Last Project, helping create permanent facilities to support HCA’s growing academic, athletic, arts, and community needs.
And there’s a lot to be excited about:
✅ Easy-to-use fundraising through MyBooster.com
✅ A character-building program for students
✅ A fitness celebration for EVERY elementary student!
Families will gather donations through MyBooster.com simply by sharing their student’s fundraising page with friends and family. Every share makes a difference!
Students will also participate in Global Kitchen Club, a character-building adventure where they’ll explore important values through recipes and activities inspired by cultures around the world.
