We're putting a new spin on one of our favorite summer traditions!
In years past, the winner was the person who wore their Horse Creek Academy gear the farthest from HCA. This year, every entry has an equal chance to win!
Here's how it works:
✅ Wear an HCA spirit shirt anywhere this summer
✅ Snap a photo
✅ Email it to hcaglobal@ghcacs.net
✅ Be sure to include the names of everyone pictured in your photo
⚠️ All entries must feature a current or new HCA student
⚠️ Only 1 entry per student
Your adventure can be near or far — on vacation, at the park, at the beach, at a baseball game, at Grandma's house, or anywhere in between! Drop us a comment below telling us where you plan to show your HCA spirit this summer!

🌟 We're honored to share that Horse Creek Academy received not one, but two awards today from Keep Aiken County Beautiful during a ceremony at the Aiken County Government Complex!
🌳 Aiken County Youth Environmental Excellence Award
This award recognizes our efforts to encourage students and families to help protect and preserve the environment right here in Aiken County. During the presentation, board members shared kind words about HCA's commitment over the years—from tree planting projects to community cleanups through programs like Adopt-A-Highway and Adopt-A-Spot.
🌟 Recognition for Outstanding Dedication and Commitment to Community Beautification
We were also recognized for our ongoing litter cleanup and beautification efforts that help make Aiken County a cleaner, more beautiful place for everyone.
💙 A special thank you to our amazing staff members, Ashley McCormick and Morgan Hutson, for representing HCA at today's ceremony and for their unwavering commitment to service throughout the year. From managing lost and found, handling all our substitutes, organizing campus cleanups, and countless other behind-the-scenes tasks, these ladies embody what it means to serve our Village. Simply put—they do it all!

💪 Created by our own Valerie Steen, HCA LIFEworks will provide meaningful, hands-on opportunities that empower students to build confidence, gain independence, and discover their strengths both in and beyond the classroom.
