Our goal was 100,000 minutes, and our students went far beyond that. We are so proud of the enthusiasm, dedication, and love of reading happening all across our campus.

🐝 Please help us celebrate Joanna Glover, a 5th grader in Mrs. Bryant’s class, who represented Horse Creek Academy at the South Carolina Regional Spelling Bee on February 28, 2026, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte!
🌟 Joanna competed against the top spellers from across the state and advanced through several impressive rounds with confidence and composure. What an incredible accomplishment!
👏 Even more exciting? This marks the second year in a row that an HCA student has advanced all the way to Bank of America Stadium. We truly are a Village of strong spellers!

🏛️ Our students had the unique opportunity to step beyond the classroom and into the heart of state government, learning firsthand about the legislative process and how decisions are made that impact our communities, schools, and future careers.
💙 A special thank you to Mr. Jacob Wooten for providing leadership and creating opportunities that bring learning to life for our students. Experiences like this perfectly reflect our commitment to real-world learning and student growth.
