🎓 HCA Valedictorian Spotlight: Leanilla Stone 🎓 🎉 Please join us in celebrating Horse Creek Academy’s Class of 2025 Valedictorian, Leanilla Stone! Lea has truly exemplified what it means to be a scholar, leader, and Village member. A dedicated A Honor Roll student and Honor Graduate, Lea has earned distinction as a Palmetto Fellow and has been accepted into the Capstone Scholars Program at the University of South Carolina, where she will continue her academic journey this fall. Throughout her time at HCA, Lea has balanced rigorous academics with meaningful involvement in the life of the school. She has been a proud member of the National Honor Society, BETA Club, Village Players Theater, and was a standout athlete on our Varsity Soccer team. Lea’s drive, kindness, and leadership have left a lasting impression, and we can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make in the world. Congratulations, Lea—you make us proud to be the Village. 💙💛

⚠️ Weather Update – Early Dismissal Today at HCA ⚠️ ⛈️ Due to incoming storms in our area, we will begin dismissal a bit earlier this afternoon out of an abundance of caution. There is no cause for concern—this is simply a proactive step to help students safely reach their vehicles before the worst of the weather moves in. ⏰ Updated Dismissal Schedule: ➡️ Elementary School: Dismissal begins at 2:00 PM; car line runs from 2:00–2:45 PM ➡️ Middle/High School: Dismissal begins at 2:50 PM; car line runs from 2:50–3:30 PM 🚫 Please note: After Care and all after-school events are canceled. 🎓 Salutatorian Spotlight: Abigail Turner 🎓 🎉 We’re proud to celebrate Abigail Turner, Horse Creek Academy’s Class of 2025 Salutatorian! Abigail is a shining example of academic excellence, creativity, and leadership. A consistent A Honor Roll student and Honor Graduate, Abigail will attend Louisiana State University this fall, where she received a scholarship to pursue a career in engineering. She is also a Palmetto Fellow and was honored at South Carolina’s 2025 STEM Signing Day—a true testament to her passion for innovation and impact. Abigail’s time at HCA has been marked by impressive accomplishments and deep involvement. She is a National Honor Society member, BETA Club member, Quill and Scroll inductee, and National Society of High School Scholars Ambassador. She represented her peers through Student Government, completed her HCA CTE track in Theater, and contributed to the Village Players, where her talents shined both on stage and behind the scenes. She was also a Varsity Cheerleader, a Junior Leadership Aiken County member, a Scholar Athlete, and even a Congressional Art Competition Winner—proving she’s as creative as she is driven.
