The HCA Board has officially approved our 2026–2027 Academic Calendar!
We’re excited to share this early so families can plan trips, milestones, and all the fun things that make life outside of school special. 💙💛
🧐 You’ll notice more half days in next year’s calendar. These are intentional—giving our teachers valuable time for professional development, collaboration, and focused work on campus. When our staff have the time and space to learn, plan, and grow together, it directly benefits our students in the classroom.
🙌 And by using half days, we’re able to provide this important work time without extending the school year past that first week of June.
👏 Thank you to our Board, Limestone, and SCDE for supporting this request. We’re excited to continue balancing strong learning time for students with the flexibility our Village values.

🏕️ Our Break Week Camp is the perfect way for students in 5K–12th grade to spend the week—packed with outdoor games, playtime, creative arts & crafts, and new friendships!

🕖 Time: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

HCA PTO’s 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat is coming up on Saturday, October 4th from 5–7pm at HCA-Aiken—and we need YOU to make it a success!
✨ Spots are FREE—all you have to do is bring your creativity, decorate your trunk, and provide candy for our students.
👻 Individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations are all welcome to join the fun!

☀️ We are so excited to celebrate our wonderful grandparents (and special guests!) with picnic-style lunches throughout the week! Bring your blankets and chairs, and let’s hope the weather is just as beautiful as we have had lately.
🍔 Grandparents are welcome to bring a special lunch just for themselves—or for themselves and their student—to enjoy together.
💙 If a grandparent can’t attend, students are encouraged to invite another special guest—whether that’s a parent, relative, or close family friend—to share this special time together.
