Mrs. Abernathy will be teaching preschool this year. She has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University in Maryland. Last year, she taught second grade at HCA. Prior to that, she taught Pre-K in Martinez, Georgia. Mrs. Abernathy spent 16 years as a director of a private preschool in Maryland.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks, and taking road trips with her husband! She is looking forward to returning to HCA and meeting her students and their families!
