Cassandra Luttrull

Elementary Lead Learner
Vision Team

We are excited to welcome back Cassandra Luttrull, Elementary Lead Learner. Mrs. Luttrull earned her B.A. in Special Education at USCA and earned a Masters in Administration Leadership from Southern Wesleyan University. She taught special education K-12 for five years in South Carolina, her first two years being at HCA.

During her time teaching, she helped implement school-wide behavior programs and academic intervention programs to serve students better grades K-12. Mrs. Luttrull also created a job experience program to help students with disabilities learn hands-on employability skills that helped many students gain meaningful employment after high school.

Due to her exceptional work, Mrs. Luttrull was recognized as DCDT's Transition Special Education Teacher of the Year for 2018-2019. She's had the opportunity to give professional development to hundreds of South Carolina educators on various topics, including using games in the classroom to motivate learning and how to create a work experience program.

During her free time, she enjoys kayaking, traveling abroad, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Luttrull is a passionate educator and child advocate who is excited to serve students, teachers, and families in this new role. It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome back Mrs. Luttrull to the HCA family.
